In this painting there are some realistic things like someone doing farm and there are houses in the background. Some of the things that don’t look realistic is the face because it looks like it’s a face from a cartoon or someone just made up that person right on the spot. There are also some animals that you can relate this to because you can’t find an animal just like this on a farm somewhere.

This painting has lots of elements like color, shape, line, and lots of texture like ruff and smooth. You can see that Chagall really likes to use different colors in his painting like greens and red and pink etc. 

The mood of this painting is a feel of a not rich city because there are some people in this that look like they have work on a farm and they don’t get a lot of money for what they do.

Its also like this painting has no emotion because there are no bright colors.
